    maintenance cycle

Hi, I have done cycles over the years, my preference being sust 8 wks with dbol 4wks at beginning, followed by nand phenyl 4wks at end, along with proper cycle support and pct (hcg, aromisan, etc). My reason for short cycles being that I am recovering from training/field operations and deployment where most of the time we carry 1 mre, 2 if it happens to be winter. I am army sf, keeping in top condition is what I do no matter the circumstance, often being well into a caloric deficit. As I am now pushing past my mid 30s and seeing less field and deployment time, I was curious if you have any suggestions on a short cycle just to help maintain my max. I train and workout almost every single day. I have no need to continue to grow because it may hinder my job performance, I just would like a little help staying at the top for a while longer. A short cycle on occasion I think will help keep me there but I am not really able to find any literature or advice on the particular subject. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

Ok so if you are thinking 8 wks, sure Sust would be a good option. Prop may be a good option too if you wanted to do something else. Either would be in and working fast. NPP would be an option. Something like Anavar would be another great option. Just 40-50mg ED for the whole 8 wk cycle would be fine. This will produce some great strength, improve recovery like other gear would, plus I feel its an easier one to recovery from. NPP isn't always hard to recover from and if you kept it at 4 wks, that shorter time frame would help with bouncing back but it still is a 19-Nor. So my thought on Var is that it would work fast, not cause a bunch of water weight and may be easier to transition off of when you go back down. But your plan is just fine too. Mainly, the thing you want to look at with shorter 8 wk cycles, is to probably use faster compounds that will give full benefit within a shorter period of time
