This is a tough one. A steroid may help with pain in the area to some degree but will leave you open to masking pain, training through it and possibly causing some more damage. Not to mention, strength will increase rapidly. Muscle tissue will strengthen faster than connective tissue, including the tissue you’ve had worked on. This is a major reason why we see tears of connective tissue in the sport of bodybuilding. I would opt for something that would actually help with recovery and not just cover the pain. HGH would be a good option. It will increase collagen, speed recovery and not cause the same potential risks I mentioned. Big question though, I would talk to your Dr about whats going on. Why you’re feeling this issue to begin with. Is this normal pain or are you over doing it? That would be important to know. Also, do you have any physical therapy you can do? Therapy is usually the number one way to reduce pain in situations like thiss and the GH will help with making it as effective as possible
