personally, i never run hardening drugs like winny unless i'm doing a show. my goal is to always grow bigger until its time to diet down. even then, i stay lean enough, that i can eat enough food to continue growing as i shave off the body fat. i keep a very close eye on my body fat, never getting above 11%. that way, the diet isn't a struggle and i don't have to crash diet and risk losing muscle. if you are 14% now, i would work on getting the fat down, but i wouldn't switch into a cutting mode. i would become more vigilant over my food and eat clean enough to lower the fat while taking in HIGH protein, clean fats and slower burning carbs. if you eat clean, you can slowly dial yourself in to a much leaner off season body comp. if you find yourself getting too lean, you need more food. sitting between 8-11% is ideal, IMO. during this time, i will use a long acting test and personally, i like EQ. if you prefer deca, thats fine too. that choice will be far less important than the choices you make with food. then when i reach 16 wks out from the show, i would begin showly lowering the carbs and fats, adding fat burners and thyroid as well as raise the cardio, its a slow taper over the following 16 wks. around 8 wks out is when i begin adding in the hardening agents like tren and masteron. around 4 wks out is the only time i will use an oral like winny or halo.
