"Typical Pro" bulk and cut cycles

First I want to thank you for taking the time to answer quetions for us in this forum. It's very helpful!

I'm sure many of us in this forum are curious what a the "giants" (Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman, Kai Greene, Dorian Yates, Phil Heath, Lee Priest, etc) are using at that level and to get to that level?

More specifically, my question is, IF I had the genetics, the discipline, the diet and many years of training under my belt that they all have, what would a typical "off season" bulk cycle include and what would a typical pre-contest cut cycle likely be?

    Thanks,

genetics play a huge role in seperating the upper tier of the sport from everyone else. at the lower levels, say 3rd tier pros and in the NPC, guys who are gifted, but not quite as gifted, can use enough drugs to overcome weaker genetics and still be competitive. at the level you're speaking of, the top couple %, i dont believe that there is any amount of drug abuse that would allow weaker guys to still hang. i can't speak for the top tier name you've mentioned, but i can say that for the guys i know, there is a wide range of use. some are using much more than others. i know guys personally, who are pushing 2 grams of test and 5 grams of total hormone during a prep, plus peptides. i also know guys who compete using less than 1/2 of that. i don't want to advocate heavy use and i will say, the guys who need to use that heavy to hang, are always the fastest to burn out or get sick.
