I have worked with a number of track athletes and I can too you that steroids for your sport is going to be somewhat different than for something like bodybuilding. No matter, what, a steroid is going to help you gain muscle and some level of weight. The main thing a steroid will do is help to store more protein in the muscle. So you gain more weight to the muscle and throughout the rest of the body, just being in a better nitrogen balance. Of course, some steroids will do it more than others. And yes sir, Winstrol is a good compound for your needs since it will not make you hold more water. The issue with it can be that winstrol will also dry our your joints, making them more painful at higher doses. Anavar may be a better choice. Now here is the difference from steroids for bodybuilding and for your needs. First of all, you can gain better performance with less than we would use for physique growth. So Anavar or Winstrol, 25-30mg would be a good place. I would suggest using this for 4-6 wks. And there is one more key that is very very different. While on, you will develop more strength but you may actually slow down just a little due to added weight and fluid. So what I would suggest doing is plan your cycle to end before you actually compete. You’ll want to experiment with how long you want to be off before competing. 10 days to 2 wks is about average. You’ll find that after you are off, you will get lighter and thus faster, yet retain some of the strength from your cycle to thus be faster than you were before. So give this a trial run before doing it during your competitions. You’ll also want to do a light PCT of Clomid or Nolvadex. If you wanted to look into drugs outside of steroids, look into the benefits of ephedrine which will give you a great boost and help with O2 intake. An option available at Naps which can be dangerous is EPO. This would require some serious rehearch as it can have fatal outcomes but this is a common one for endurance athletes like cyclists and distance runners. Once again, spend a good deal of time learning about it before considering its use
