Sure, running a long ester drug with a short ester drug is not a problem. If you like, you can break your dose of test down into EOD shots, so that every shot is the same, every time, and you know that the same amount of oil is being delivered to each site. If you find that you aren't getting as dry as you like on proviorn, I would most certainly add in a small amount of AI. I think that AI's are more effective for estrogen control, especially when the doses start to get higher. At 500mg test, you will probably be just fine, but it's still nice to have on hand, in case it is needed. If you goal is to cut, I would use the provion or an AI through the whole cycle.
