    Thanks for your time Bro, what a invaluable resource this is! Been training with weights since 1979 and have competed in the early '80s with good results. The cycles I've done for the 2 shows I went in were 2 shots of deca(200mg and 10-15mgs of dbol ed for 8WEEKS! I realize now this was actually almost "natural" although I did get good results. I ran no anti estro and had no PCT.Got much stonger and lean as my diet was totally clean.FF to today,I am 59yo but look 40 and I love to train.In the last year I wanted to gain some size and did some experimenting in 2013, ie,a cycle of EQ@250 mgs for 6 weeks and later in the year some primo and var for 8 weeks with excellent results and no sides to speak of.I want to do a "legitimate" cycle but have a nagging tendonitis prob in my right elbow that is driving me nuts right now.I've read some posts in which you advised "older" guys to run GH to help with nagging injuries,general well being etc.IYO would I be a candidate for such a protocol? FYI I've always responded well to AAS's where if other guys use 400mg I could use 200 and basically get great results.Sorry a/b the long post..I need to be set straight. Thanks again.

    Good man! I like to hear about how things used to be done back in the day. Puts a smile on my face. That was a great era for the sport. 

    If I were you, I would start out with some lab work to see where you're at. Theres a good chance you qualify. If thats the case, and after researching the pros and cons, there are a couple different options I'd suggest going into, based off of your decision. 

    I'm thinking about suggesting deca in the cycle, which can feel great on the joints, but deca can be really hard to recover from. If your labs are good and you decide that you don't want to use HRT, then it might be in your best interest to stay away from it. From what I've seen, the older we get, the harder it is to recover from a cycle. Test alone is a lot eaiser to recover from than test and deca. So think about it. If you want to go on, without HRT after the cycle, I would probably leave the deca out. The added fluid from test will help your joints feel better, on it's own. Just maybe not as much as with Deca. 

    As for GH, you're natural production has been on the decline for probably about half your life, if not longer. Adding in a small dose, to take indefinitely, is only going to continue to help. The only time I would NOT use GH, is if you have a histroy of cancer. GH isn't going to give you cancer, but if you have mutating cells, it will increase the speed of their growth. Beyond that, it will help your skin, muscle, connective tissue, hair, nails, eveything. I would suggest using the highest quality GH you can afford. Whether I were here at Naps' site or not, I'd tell you that Hyge is the best GH available besides pharm grade, and it's very very close to being as good. At a HRT dose, it won't be very expensive to run. 

    Keep in mind that you may also have to consider using a 5 alpha reductase inhibitor like dutasteride if you find that DHT conversion is having an effect on your prostate. This is more common with older guys and can be corrected. As for an AI, you don't need much, considering that the doses will be low. Everyone has a unique response to aromatase and to AI's. The same cycle may require very different dose for different guys. For this cycle, I would start you out on .5mg adex, 2x wk and see how things go from there. If you need more, you can increase it. At the most, I don't imagine you will need more than .5mg EOD. Be aware that too much AI may hinder gains. Also, test is going to want to break down. The more you block it's conversion to estrogen, the more likly it will convert to DHT. It'll take finding the balance that works for you. 

    And finally, before I outline the cycle, if you do plan not to do HRT on test for the rest of your life, I would strongly consider using a low dose of HCG on cycle to help with your recovery. As I mentioned, especailly with the age factor, it will help. 

    GH 2iu ED or 5 days on 2 off, indefinitely

    1-12

    Test e or Cyp 250mg EW

    adex as outlined above

    HCG 250iu 2x wk

    1-10

    deca 200mg EW(if you opt not to use deca, using something like anavar at 40mg for the first 6-8 wks would be good)

     

    PCT starts 2 wks after last shot. 1 wk of Clomid 100mg or nolvadex 40mg, followed by 2 wks of clomid 50mg or nolva 20mg

     

    How much do you want to bet that you do better with this than a lot of the younger guys in the gym, while using less than 1/2 as much as them! So many kids now days go straight to gear without having the slightest clue about training, diet and hard work. Go get 'em :)
