before we talk gh, lets talk diet and training. for some time, i had hit a sticking point. my diet was good. i was eating more than ever...eating to be the size i wanted to be. still, i wasnt happy with my off season gains. turns out, my training needed an overhaul. i changed my training and gained 10 lbs. it took me some time to figure out what i needed but after i got my game plan together, i gained about 8 new lbs in half a year. thats a good gain when you've already got a decent amount of mass. the same holds true for diet. you're training might be right but it could be your diet. OR, it might be that you aren't getting enough rest. i would be certain that one or more of those elements need changing, so take a look at whats going on in your program and remember, what worked in the past will give you an idea of what you need to do now, but what always worked may not be todays answer. with my training, i had to get creative. i looked at what worked in the past and started looking at athletes that responded to the same kind of training i have. i studied their plans and talked to them. thats one of the great things about the net. you don't have to be a pro to reach out to guys on facebook.
now lets talk GH. will it work with gear but no insulin? first, i will say that with insulin, you will get your best gains. but as for using it without insulin, i think it depends on your body type. if you naturally tend to be over weight, there is a good chance that you are more insulin sensitive, and if that's the case, you may have a better chance of making gains. on the other hand, if you have a hard time gaining mass, lean or fat, staying pretty lean year round, even when you aren't trying to diet, there is a chance that you are somewhat insulin resistant. gh increases insulin resistance. this makes it harder to utilize the food that you consume. thats why insulin and gh go so well together. i feel that i am fairly insulin resistant. i stay super lean, even on high calories and i found that when i've used gh alone, i would get very lean on cycle, but that it almost may have limited my gains, when taking about 4-5iu. for a person like myself, adding insulin is a must.
there are many ways to use insulin. no matter what though, you have to have great respect for it. if you choose to go down that road, tread lightly and be overly conservative as you learn how it works in your body. i'm not sure if this is the path you feel you want to go down, but hopefully, i've given you a couple things to think about. do some reading about the pros, cons and the risks. if you decide that it is a step you want to take, come back here and i'll help you design a plan based around safety and max effectiveness.
