I think theres a reason that you are hearing a lot of different feedback. Everyone has a unique response to different AI's. I find that Adex tends to be effective yet forgiving. Its easier for controling estrogen without dropping levels too low. Dose is going to also be unique for each individual, as well as depend on how much and what kind of gear is being used. For a cycle of 500mg test, I would start a guy out on .5mg adex about 3x wk and see how he responds. If he is too dry, joints begin hurting and or sex drive takes a dive, I would reduce it. Some guys that are more sensitive to estrogen my need more. .25mg 2-3 times a wk is usually at the lower end, and .5mg EOD is usually good at the higher end. I have worked with a guy who bloated badly on 400mg test EW, 250iu HCG 2xwk, and he required .5mg ED. Most will not need to go that high. 

I find that letro is very strong and it is a lot harder for me to keep enough estrogen in my body to feel normal. Arom is the opposite for me. I have used what would be considered a high dose ED of REAL arom and still felt nipple tenderness if I missed one dose. This was a bummer for me because adex and letro used long term can have a negative impact on cholesterol, where as arom does not.
