    I have been cutting up for the past couple of months and have recently added in T3 (75mcg ED) to 500mg/week of enanthate. My results have been amazing and this is the first time I have been down to a single digit bf%. To my surprise, the test has not quite been enough to ward off muscle loss, but it may have been imminent anyways due to the calorie deficit. I know from past experience that it will be easy to regain muscle that I previously had once I come off, which sort of leads me into my question. I will be running the T3 for three more weeks (2 weeks before my last shot of test). Once I cease the T3, I plan on reducing my calories even further during the couple of following weeks. I base this off clinical data showing the body's ability to restore natural thyroid production within two weeks even in cases of long-term shutdown (Google Scholar has quite a few peer-reviewed journal articles). My question is would you recommend doing anything special once I come off the T3, aside from dropping the calories a bit? Maybe some supplemental iodine? I am trying to go into it with the idea that I will inevitably rebound a bit, but I would like to minimize that. Thanks for your time.

    Sounds like you might have needed more food or the dose was too high. Then again, you might just be flatter than normal and may bounce back later when your glycogen can refill. I stay pretty conservative with t3 and only lost muscle, years ago, when i took the dose too high, too fast, while not eating enough food. I would tapper off of the t3 at the end. I've only seen problems a couple of times with acquaintances that have had long term thyroid issues after using it. One gal, didn't taper down. Then other was predisposed to thyroid issues. I would slowly reduce the dose over a 2-3 wk period, by 12.5mcg every 3-4 days. I find that there is a point of fogginess that lasts for a few days, once I cut it completely, so near the end, I will stay on 25mcg for closer to a wk. Then 12.5mcg for a wk. Then I'll cut it out. I would be very carefui cutting calories, if you are cutting the test out too. Usually, I would use t3 right up to the end of a diet, at which point, I would have a client tapper off and start a reverse diet, out of the cutting plan.
