Once you have torn a bicep, you'll need to be very careful. I would suggest you go in for an MRI as soon as you can, to see exactly what has gone on, and if it needs to be repaired. The sooner you get it fixed, the better chance you will have for a successful recovery. If it is not a complete tear, it will be prone to continue tearing in the future. Either way, I would go to the DR ASAP.
Using growth hormone will help to speed recover after you have had the tendon reattached. And if it is a partial tear, it MAY help to heal the issue.
