    Athlete Training Volume on PCT

Hello, I am a competitive Crossfit athlete that am about to start a 16 week cycle of Test. I have cycled before, but before I started Crossfit. In this past year, I have surprised myself on what the body is capable of accomplishing naturally ( to be compeitive in crossfit training volume is ridiculously high ). A normal day will consist on olympic lifting, strength ( usually a squat and a press ), followed by a WOD or two and skill work, maybe some intervals, hours of work. I have done this naturally and made gains, given; I have recovered properly with proper nutrition and sleep. With that said, I plan to cycle on then end about 4-5 months before testing which gives me 6-8 weeks of pct and 2-3 months of pct's leaving system. My question is - what should I train like during PCT? I am not sure if I will INCREASE my volume while I'm on, but can I ( should I ) train with the same volume during pct? And ultimately - is this how you would go as a tested athlete?Thank you for your answer!PS. I plan to stack igf 1 + hgh during pct. Will be doing. Hcg on cycle and a traditional Nolva + Clomid pct ( I never have had any sides with clomid ).

For training in PCT and while recoverying natural test, you are on the right track. I might back the volume down a little. I would certainly still push myself and I would focus on handling the most weight I could in that time, but long, exhustive circuits are likely to cause some serious muscle trama. My suggestion would be that when you cycle, you don't use high amounts of gear to begin with. Keep the doses low. It does not require bodybuilding doses to improve performance. A cycle of something like 30mg Anavar will give you increased strength and endurance. You will perform better. The side effects will be low and weight gain will be mild, making it easy to continue working at a fast speed. A lot of what you read online about steroids is geared toward bodybuilding and maybe some powerlifting. But I would consider cross fit more of an athletic endeavor. This will require a different mind set than that of the guys that are using gear for cosmetic purposes.
