I would suggest he stays with the care of the family Dr. If you, as a family, were to deside to use a generic, it will work the same. I would continue to see the Dr and have IGF levels monitored, just as he would if he were using Pharm grade. Generic GH may not be quite as strong in some cases, so dosing may need to be adjusted to get the same effect. Hyge makes a good quality GH and I have seen great results with it. If you were to go with a generic, that would be the brand I would suggest.
Also, a major factor in growth for males is estrogen. As we mature and begin producing test, some of this test converts to estrogen. Estrogen is responsible for closing growth plates. So if estrogen can be controlled, he will have the oppertunity to reach his potential without being cut short due to his hormones.
