    Hi thankyou for your time I just came off of a 16 week prep and dieted down to 6% body fat at 190 pounds. Now that I'm done with competition season I'm of course going to have a cheat meal here and there and enjoy food during my off season. My problem is every time I cheat I get crazy bloated and my face gets so puffy where it's extremely noticeable and I instantly loose my abbs and I get a hangover tired feeling. This really bothers me and makes me feel like shit because other people will point out when my face gets puffy. Last week people were saying I look like a god and now I'm being told I look heavy and bloated and this gets me in a down mood. I feel like my body is storing all my carbs as fat instead of shuttling them into the muscle leading to rapid fat and water gain. Is there anything you can recommend I can do or any supplements/drugs I can take for my situation ? It has been 3 weeks since my show and I am now 210 11% bf. I really appreciate any advice. Idk what to do.

    Here are some various thoughts that come to mind :

    Moderation! Don't go crazy with the cheat meal, and you will reduce the bloating. 

    Post contest, you will get bloated. Its going to happen. Diuretic use will make it worse. The harder you pull water, the worse the rebound will be. 

    Some people are more sensitive to carbs than others. You may naturally have a greater sensitivity. Still, bloating is going to happen. After being on a calorie restriction, you are going to have heightened insulin sensitivity and increased response to food. This can be a good or a bad thing, depending on what you eat. You aren't going to store fat over night, so don't be afraid to enjoy some food but also make the most of your clean foods so that you can grow and improve for next year!
