I have not had personal experience, but I could see it working better than finasteride for this purpose, as it is a 5 alpha reductase type 1 and 2 inhibitor. I've seen chat online, of it being used off lable for acne, but as I said, I have not seen it work. First thing I would do is make sure your basics are covered. A DHT blocker can come with its own host of side effects, so if it can be avoided, you'd be better off without it. The first thing I suggest guys do is get really anal with their skin care. You want to make sure that your skin stays bacteria free, so make sure to wear a new gym shirt every day. Chage your pillow case and sheets a couple times a wk. Use Dial anti bacteria bar soap in the shower daily. 

Also, consider splitting your gear doses up more. A lot of acne from gear is due to hormone fluctuation. If you are doing fast acting gear and injecting EOD, consider breaking the dose down further and do it ED. If you are using long esters and injecting 2x wk, consider breaking it down to EOD. 

See how that works and then, if needed, consider adding in a drug to help.
