All steroids are derived from testosterone. Once you take your first pill or shot, assume that you are becoming shut down. How hard you get shut down will depend on how long you use. Also, the 19-Nor family of steroids tend to shut you down quicker and harder than most others. Outside of that, don't assume they will all do the same thing, as far as shut down goes and the longer you are shut down, the harder it will be to recover. If you want to ensure your recovery, I'd use HCG to keep your teste size up and force your body to produce, even while on gear. And use a solid PCT after each and every cycle. Then give yourself enough time off between cycles to allow your body to reach it's potential, once again producing on it's own. Recovery can be a slow process for some and faster for others. Factors like cycle length, use of 19-Nors, HCG, age and genetics will all play a role. So my suggestion would be to keep cycles smaller to start and see how you respond. If you're in your 20's, you don't want to shut yourself down for good, forcing you to depend on HRT.
