For fat loss, I would split your gh up through the day. Assuming you are training in the evening, if you are taking 4iu, I might take 1.3iu first thing, 1.3iu 5 hours later and 1.3iu before working out. If you are doing AM fasted cadio, I would be sure to take your first dose before your cardio session.
As for maintaining gains, this will still work, or you could take more of it proworkout. If you are experienced with insulin, preworkout insulin would also help
