    First off, I would like to thank you and 1napsgear for hosting this forum. I am requesting your input on the following protocol. The Non AAS supplementation with the exception of the peptides and dosage of arimidex (1mg/10 days with HRT only) is what I do all the time in conjunction with HRT and has worked very well for me to control body composition while adding muscle. I am currently 6 feet tall, 260 lbs and bf% is consistently in the 12-15 range or less. I’m 29 years old and have been training for about 12 years. I have never done an AAS cycle before but have been on HRT for about a year. I am trying to set up a ~12 week cycle for adding size, although I have no intention of getting fatter on it. I have written two different AAS cycles that my limited knowledge on the subject has conjured up. My question is if you see any issues with the compounds/dosage/durations as I have them written below. Also, if they are satisfactory, which of the two would you recommend? I know Tren is the big kahuna of AAS and you often steer people away from it as a first cycle, but my stats/scenario seem to be different from theirs as well. I do have a bicep tendon issue that is often painful but certainly manageable that some might say that I would be better off on deca. My goals are purely hypertrophic, I don’t know what is realistic in a 12 week cycle but I wish to do a cycle that will allow me to gain the maximum amount of muscle with the least amount of gear.     Hey bro, 

    Thanks for the question, brother. The reason I suggest guys wait on tren on their first cycle, is partially because it is a "big gun" and that you can make great progress with less, but also because of the sides. You'd be better off using gear that is easier on side effects for awhile first. Then when you are more experienced and not getting as much out of the milder compounds, explore tren. I think that EQ would be a great option, along with a moderate dose of test. Really, on 500mg of test alone, you would probably be surprised by your gains. At HRT dosing, Test will make you feel normal, but increasing the dose to 500mg is going to be different. At that point, it will have a drug like effect, very different from the natural health effects you feel now. If you wanted to add something else in, EQ would help to add a good amount of muscle, while on the right diet and training plan. I also believe you will need more adex than you are currently using since you will have higher conversion to estrogen than you are on your current doses. 

    I would lay it out something like this. If you find that your gains are slowing sooner than 16 wks, you could always cut the plan short, go back to HRT and begin recovering, but if you are doing well, EQ will continue to work longer term, so 16 wk may be a nice time line. Feel it out.

    Test E 500mg EW

    EQ 400mg EW

    adex .5mg 3x wk to EOD, or as needed to control esotrgen

    HCG- same as you have been

     

    Also, just a side note, I would consider a better carb than maltodex. Waxy Maze will better shuttle nutrients to the muscle. I'd look into that or the other options out there
