When you take steroids, your natural test production slows and stops. Test is what makes men, men. No other steroid will do what test for your body. Without test, we lack libido and drive. So we want the base of your cycles to be test. You want at least enough test to maintain normal funtion. So for any cycle, at least 250mg EW. When it comes to test and tren, test is way less toxic. One of the new fads is to run tren higher than test, but IMO you want to keep tren moderate and stay healthy. So if I were to use more of either, I would use more test. Also, tren can cause sexual side effects. So if your 50/50 is good, I think you're good to go, but if you have libido issues, you might want to run a little more test.
