    Abs
    on: 2015-06-08 17:30:41
Im 26 and very lean I would say that on average I am well under 10 percent. I seem to have no genetics for having abs whatsoever. My arms and legs shoulders back and chest are all awesome but I can not get my abs to show. Even though my body fat allows my muscle fibers and striations to show easily. I've done cycles before with great results but never have I had any definition in my abs. I would like advice on workouts and/or cycles that can help me gain size and definition in my abs. feel free to ask me for more information I just have no idea what to do.

Abs are very genetic. Some guys have shorter torsos and smaller, blockier abs. Other guys have longer mid sections which makes their wiast look smaller but often times these guys have "longer" flatter ab muscle. Diet is the number one thing. No matter how shallow your abs are, getting lean enough would allow you to see them, as long as fluid retention was low enough.

But there are things you can do to get your abs to show better. If you got to 4-5% body fat, shallow abs would show, but if you can thicken them up, they can show through at higher body fat. I would suggest that you work abs 5x wk, post workout. i would do some cable cruches, with a weight that you can get about 20 reps. shoot for 4 sets. Then hanging leg raises, 4 sets of 20 reps. This will only take about 10 minutes post workout and over time, the muscle will get thicker.

Last thought...remember that your abs will take longer to show than shoulders, arms, legs, ect. Those are the first areas to get ripped. In order to get the abs out, you will have to keep dieting. Some guys hold more fat in their belly. Remember, you are only as ripped as your fattest area, so keep grinding.

If you or anyone else wants help, I'm taking clients. You can reach me through the Next Level Nutrition page, here at Naps. Best of luck bro. Anyone, and I mean ANYONE can have abs. It's matter of knowing how to diet down far enough and thickening the muscle. So get to work buddy! Let me know how it goes
