1 long cycle or 2 short cycles?

I am about to finish my last cycle for this year (sust, dbol, tren) so i am planning my first cycle for next year. I am debating whether to run one 20 week, lower dosed cycle of test, EQ, dbol to start and mast to finish. Or run two 6 week cycles of test suspension and dbol (6 weeks on, 3 weeks pct, 4 weeks off, 6 weeks on, 4 weeks pct). In my past cycles, i generally stop putting on noticeable size after about week 8; i still get stronger, leaner, and a little bigger for the rest of the cycle but the size increase is not much even with an increase in doses. most of my recent cycles have been 13 to 14 weeks and included deca or tren. I have several friends who like running the 20 to 25 week low dose cycles and get good results from them, but someone also recommended the two short cycles as a good alternative. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I like a cycle that is a little longer. You can only gain muscle so fast. no matter what you take, so in 20 wks, I believe I gain more real muscle than in shorter cycles. But of course, the longer you are on, the longer it takes to recover after you come off. So it's up to you brother. There is some truth about making better gains in the start. Over time, gains can slow as your body gets used to the gear, but you should still be able to gain muscle. Most of the weight you see in the first 8 wks is going to be fluid and blood, building up and filling out your muscle. So some of what you see at the start isn't really muscle to begin with
