My job requires me to be able to run....I am about to start my first cycle(cutting cycle) and was wanting to know if you had tips to keep my Cardio up but so get the gains in looking for. I know it can be counter productive to do both.

Hey bro, if you have to run and expend a lot of energy, you will require more calories than if you did not have to do these things. You can still reach your goals and to an extent, you can possibly use your running to your advantage. I can tell you, on my first diet, I was sitting aorund a lot. Very little activity and it was hard to get in shape. In fact, that first diet was one of the hardest. Then the next year, I had picked up a physical job. It required me to be on my feet and walking and lifting light stuff every day, all day. I did my second contest and got WAY WAY leaner than the first and felt as though the process was much easier. So you have to figure out what you expend and adjust your food intake to that. Eat a set diet and watch how you respond. Then adjust.

The main thing you may find with running is, over time, it can make it harder to grow legs. It will take a lot more food to grow but I bet getting in shape will not be a problem. Doing both at the same time, now thats another story. You need to eat more food than your baseline needs to grow, but you need to eat less food than baseline in order to lose fat. It can be done when enough of the right clean foods, but it is a tricky balance to strike.
