    Cycle length on/off

50 YO. 5'10", 195 lbs. Never cycled before. My Doc is going to start me on TRT. Doc is out of pocket so they are going to get cut eventually. Hell I cant even get them to measure T3. Cant teach an old Doc new stuff. I am sure Doc would like my to stay on TRT forever but I already decided against that.250mg test C a week. HCG 50 u x2 weekAzole x1 weekI want to add in 8 week cycles of Anavar. Later a bigger stack possibly. EQ or Tbol.I was thinking something like this for my first cycle.Week 1-16 test-250,HCG,azole.Week 8-16 40mg ED Anavar 2 20mg doses.PCT clomid 100/100/50/50I have read the longer you are on cycle the harder it is to get started again. I am old but you never know I might want to procreate again.I am unfortunate enough to know my genetics = Big arms , thick neck, thick chest. I have been sick in hospital down to 130 Lb's and my arms were still bigger then average.I lifted weights in my 20's. in my 30's endurance biking, half marathons etc. Last 5 years lifting. The past year lost strength so TRT.Firming up what I have, gaining strength a little size and endurance our my goals. My question is how often I should stop everything and do PCT ? I would like to get my boys working from time to time. How long should I wait between cycles ? Is that up to my natty recovery time ?

Hello bro, well it looks like you have done your fair share of research. Good for you. I'd like this to be a lesson to everyone else. The more you know, the better you can help yourself and the better results you will get.

Now heres the big question. Are you able to produce enough test to live without TRT? If your Dr wants to give you test for TRT, you are below the bare minimum, which is that of an old old man. TRT is designed to bring you to optimal levels, that of a young buck! If you are already very low and plan to run gear for a period and then come off, you will probably have an even harder time recovering. In many cases, your best possible outcome will be to return to the low test you had before. Hard to say. In most all cases, once a 50 year old man starts TRT/HRT, this is a lifetime decision. Some guys can still have kids while on TRT, espeically with HCG, but this isn't 100%. Either way, the years for having kids are getting smaller in number at your age. If you wanted to have kids and are able to now, it wouldn't hurt to get that out of the way before you started cycling and doing TRT. If it isn't a priority, just make sure you go in understanding that this option could be off the table. In this case, once you finish your cycle, I would return to TRT dosing and continue on, living with a better quality of life, having normal high levels of test.
