Hey brother, first of all, contrats on your first show. I have no idea what you look like, so take that into consideration, as I say this, but understand that nationals is a huge jump and you're going to need to be 100% polished and perfert to make a dent there. If you are ready, and on another day, could have won your overall, then my suggestion would be to first look into one of the Jr National shows. Something smaller, as a step toward Nats or NA or USA.
So as for gear, it sounds like you are doing your research, which is great. It's so easy to get overwhelmed with all the different compounds out there. This promises to add mass. While THIS promises to add more mass. And if you stack THIS with THIS, you will gain even MORE mass. Haha. Yea, and then you find someone tell you that one thing works great, while someone else tells you that it is garbage. Everyone has an opinion and you can go to 5 message boards and get 5 different "advices", as Arnold would say. So lets cut through the shit. Lets make it simple. For the most part, you can take any of the "bulking" steroids and gain muscle, but these things are all derived from test. Test is the key. Nothing other than test will support your function as a male. So you want to start out with a test cycle and if you have the right diet, you can make some pretty awesome gains. At this stage, you don't need a lot more. You can only gain so much muscle as your body will allow and cranking up your test levels to several times that of a normal man will allow you to gain your max amount of muscle in one time. As you progress, a cycle like this won't work as well. Your body gets used to the cycle and hopefully you will have gotten much bigger. At that point, you want to start considering adding more gear in, starting to stack other steroids with your test, in order to evoke a response similar to what you were able to get on this first test cycle.
Still, I don't want to get your hopes up, that you will be a pro sized MPD competitor within 1 short year of juicing. It takes time and there are no short cuts. The guys who take short cuts end up not being able to stay in the game long enough to get where they wanted to be. So keep it smart and don't get sucked into the idea that there is some magic combo of drugs that will get you there over night. Cuz lets face it, if there was, EVERYONE would be a pro, right? We all have access to the same drugs. Its not a matter of what you are taking. Its a matter of genetics and diet and lots of hard work. And in case you are wondering, this is probably the most important reply I have ever made here at the QA and I can't say it enough, so thanks for asking the question and giving me the chance to say it again.
Here is the cycle I would suggest to you, and I would also suggest that you use high quality gear. I personally suggest human grade or Geneza Labs, which I have found to be as good as human grade. I would also use high quality adex, not the liquid shit from research labs that is often under dosed. I have worked with a ton of athletes and have had so many issues with research stuff. Not worth the small savings.

Test E 500mg EW, split into 2 doses
adex .5mg EOD or as needed, maybe more while on dbol
1-6
dbol 30-40mg ED, split into 3 doses
PCT , 2 wks after last shot, 100mg clomid for 7 days. 21 days at 50mg after that.
