    Cutting Cycle (Caloric Deficit)
    on: 2016-07-05 19:45:20
To start, I'm 6'1 205lbs, 13% body fat, 38 years old.Currently:I eat very low carbs 5-6 days a week and spike up my carbs once a week similar to carb cycling. The past few months I have dropped my body fat from 19% to 13% My workouts include Power Circuit training, Super sets, high reps with as heavy weights as possible, etc. Now I have started (3 weeks ago) Sustanon 270 at 810mg/week (12 weeks) with 40mg/ed of Tbol (6 weeks) to jump start cycle and Adex 1mg/week while on cycle. After doing a ton of research that's my cycle of choice. So far everything is going very well in the gym.Now to my question:So many "experts" give sooooo much contradicting advice, so I am here to finally get your opinion. My goal is to cut and I see gear only as a supplement, and I agree with your opinion that gear can't do the work for you, we have to do the work ourselves both in the gym And in the kitchen. Now as far as cutting, I am always on a caloric deficit pretty much the entire week. I have noticed (since it's only the relative beginning of my cycle) my weight increase from 202 to 208 and my body fat has decreased from 14% to 13% but I've sooo many people tell me I'm wasting the gear and I should be eating a ton of calories, though I explain I want to cut without losing as much muscle as possible and building muscle is not exactly my goal. (Meanwhile none of them have 6 pack abs lol). What is your opinion on Caloric Deficit and Gear (In particular the cycle I am on)? Thanks in advance, I enjoy reading your advice on this forum.

Nice topic. So yes, gear is there in a cutting diet to support muscle, while you are in a deficit. Thats its main purpose. When you started getting into really good shape, then the effects that certain gear has, like DHTs, will get you a more dramatic cosmetic look. So this would also be a reason to use gear on a diet. One thing I would suggest. I would rather build my gear doses through the cycle to have a greater impact at the end vs the start. As you diet, the deficit has to become greater in order to keep making progress, so your muscle is going to be at more risk of wasting. So I would have started with just the test. Any test is going to raise your levels within the first day, long or short. You dont need a kick start when dieting but this is espeically true with Sust, since it has shorter esters. Then as the diet gets tougher, adding more gear would be a way to keep the muscle in place and improve the look
