Keeping gains is a tricky topic. It comes down to a lot of things. 1. How close are you to your genetic limit? If you are close (Im sure you not), it would be a lot harder to hold muscle. The smaller you are, the easier it is to hold. 2. Diet, if you eat enough to maintain, you can hold the majority of your gains for the size of a guy in MPD. But you wont be able to hold the same composition. So keep that in mind. There is a look you get when you’re “on” that you just don't have when off cycle. Really though, when it comes to competing, thats just part of the game. I’m sure you want to look your best year round for social media etc, but the reality is, you can’t do that and still make progress. You need to eat enough to grow and then enough to maintain and be able to hold that even without gear. And you will gain some body fat in the process. Also, I would shift the ratio some. More like 500 test, then 300-400 EQ. Use your test as the base, control water through nutrition and Ai. And really, unless you are looking like a top state level bodybuilder or classic guy, theres a good chance you can use more muscle. I would just focus on growing as much muscle as you can. You’re never going to hold it all, but the more you can grow, the more you will have been able to hold on to post cycle and later when dieting. Most people don't realize just how big the national level and pro MPD guys are. The division has come a long way and they are basically small bodybuilders at this point. Don't limit yourself.
