if you refrain from eating simple sugars, your body will become more sensitive to insulin. diabetes is the opposite, where you have become insulin resistent. also, by cutting out simple carbs and sugar, you are not going to stop insulin from releasing in your body. you are only going to control production so that you don't have as large of spikes. insulin will still release and help to shuttle nutrients to your muscle and fat tissues, but it will be at a much healthier level.
